Hi, everyone!

Last week I had the great opportunity of visiting The Statue of Liberty. Seeing the statue was a like a dream  to me! It isn’t only beautiful,  It is a universal symbol of freedom and democracy too. On the same day I visited Ellis Island also known as Island of Hope or Island of Tears. Ellis Island was America’s immigration station and now  in that island there is a museum that shows the history about the immigrants who came to the United States to seek for a better life and there many families were separated, so this is why it became the Island of Tears.  There you can see a sad history about many people that couldn’t achieve the dream of living in the land of opportunity.
