Post 6 - Nascimento

On 02/14/14 I visited the National Museum of the American Indian. It was a good experience to learn a little bit more about them, especially about The Lenape (the native tribe from Manhattan). This beautiful museum has one of the most extensive collections of Native American arts and artifacts in the world. There, I saw old Indians pieces and a magnificent exhibition of George Morrison. He was an American Indian painter and sculptor who is known for landscape paintings and wood collage sculptures. It was another amazing place I met here in New York.
