This is my third week in New York. Every day, I have new knowledge. I'll describe about it.
On Monday, I visited St. Jonh's University - Campus Queens, it's bigger than Manhattan but both are beautiful. I could visit a lot of places and take a lot of pictures there and we had an workshop in the afternoon explaining about Healthy and Sexual Harassment.
From Tuesday to Friday, I had my English Refinement Classes with Mrs. Dorothy in the morning and in the afternoon, workshops. I have learn a lot of things, especially, with the coordinator Aaron Royer. He is teaching us to use the Weebly - I didn't know this website, but I'm loving learn about it. I think it's a good way to show my classes to my Brazilian students.
This week, I learned with Mrs. Sue Peterson how to teach in big classes, like mine. I'll try develop the techniques when I arrive in Brazil, and I think it'll be successfully.
And the most exciting for me: I went to Statue of Liberty. I was wonderful with each detail I see. On my walking, I saw instruction boards about the Statue, then, I learned about its building, its color and a lot of other curiosities about it.
I am having good days here!
