A Brazilian in the USA

I am an English teacher in the United States. I teach English for children and teens in public and private schools in Manaus, Amazonas, in the North of Brazil. The weather in the north is hot and sunny most of the year. Can you imagine how am I feeling about coming to the USA for the first time? Friends of mine borrowed me winter clothes. My family has been worried the way I am facing the winter here. But that`s OK for me. It`s my first experience abroad and to be in New York City - the BIG APPLE has been A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

 

 I am here in the USA attending English classes at St. John`s University - The English Language Connection, in Manhattan Campus. It` been great and I`ve learned a lot to share with my students in Brazil.
