It`s winter and with it comes the snow. But phenomenon is not excuse not to visit some places that will contribute with my personal increasing. This time, I had the opportunity to visit St. John`s University -Queens Campus.
I could feel a contagious atmosphere . The place is huge, with a lot of accommodations, sports courts, square , dormitories, cafeteria, restaurants, auditoriums, patios full of snow everywhere, large classes, and even a chapel where people can demonstrate their beliefs. This scenery is unfamiliar for me, but it is an intriguing phenomenon.
There are students from all of the world, each one trying to reach his/her objective - the graduation. I am a Brazilian English teacher and I will take some advantages of this cultural exchange to renew my thoughts, knowledge and, at last my practice. Changing the environment where I have been teaching and get good results from the teaching process.
