One of our latest visits was to know the Public Library of New York. The place is amazing and it`s impossible to describe it`s beauty just in words. The architecture is so impressive that one only visit is not enough to explore. The number of books, maps and different documents there, from what we saw, is unpredictable.
It`s nice to see people interested in reading and going to libraries. It`s a little different from Brazil, where I live. It isn`t usual to read so frequently as I see here in New York. Since I arrived here I`m impressed with people reading in all kind of places, like in subways and in the trains themselves, even standing up, as well as people who are living in the streets and subways, having many books with them.
I hope my country make a good job for encouraging children to read and learn from the books as I see here in the streets and in that beautiful library!
