What is New York City?
There's no possibly answer to describe the Capital of the World... any closed answer would diminish the Empire City. There are so many things to do and to see that one could go crazy in the Capital of Everything.
The other day we went for a walk around the Brooklyn Bridge.
The Brooklyn Bridge opened in 1883, and once it was the longest
suspension bridge in the world- nowadays the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge in Japan has got this title - , likewise it was the first steel-wire suspension bridge constructed. This bridge connects the dense borough of Manhattan and the most populous one, the Brooklyn. has a main span of 1,595.5 feet (486.3 m) and more than 120,000 vehicles, 4,000 pedestrians and 3,100 bicyclists cross the Brooklyn Bridge every day. And inside the Melting Pot it is believed to be a symbol of the optimism of the time.
However, the beauty of sunset and the lights turning on while I was walking across the giant bridge was exactly what caught my eyes. I know that I am inside the City That Never Sleeps, and maybe it happens exactly because there is such an intense light everywhere that nobody could ever close his/her eyes.
