This is my first time out of Brasil, and believe it or not it came to be to Manhattan, New York City!!. I come from Santarem, in the Northern Region of Brasil, and I'm here for a course in English language, teaching methodology and American culture. It has been such an enriching experience. I've seen and lived so many different things each day, as talking to passengers at the subway on my way to St John's University, touring through the Financial Center, Times Square and other touristic attractions of New York. But the very low temperature has been the most difficult thing for me to deal with so far, but I believe I'll get acquainted to it as times passes by. I'm sure there are still a lot exciting things to see and experience during the following five weeks. This is only the first one out of six weeks that I'm going to stay in this beautiful and unique city.
