FINAL POST - ROBERT LIMA

                                                            Last post - Robert liMA

Working as a volunteer and helping people getting food was something beyond physical activity.
There, at City harvest, we were taught how that food ends up in New York, who provides it, and especifically the purpose of that event.
We learned a lot, especially why that work was important and how much healthy food is not consumed by americans.
Our job was to separate and pack the sweet potatoes so that low- income families would have a chance to grab a scack of them.
This task was made with so much enthusiasm and every person in that room had a chance to make a difference in someone's life.
Apparently , there was a little competition among the groups, but , by far , the most victorious ones are the people who will receive those sacks of sweet potatoes, and we who participate of it , will never feel as much full of spiritual pride as that day.
