Metropolitan Museum

It was a cold Sunday when I went to the Metropolitan Museum. I got really glad to have the opportunite to see so many art pieces together, of many civilizations. The museum is huge...The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which includes its Main Building on Fifth Avenue in the northern Manhattan, dates back to 1866. It's amazing how they keep a large permanent collection are works of art from classical antiguity and Ancient Egypt, paintings and sculptures from nearly all the European masters, and an extensive collection of American and modern art. The Met also maintains extensive holdings of African, Asian, Oceanic, Byzantine, and Islamic art. The museum is also home to encyclopedic collections of musical instruments, costumes and accessories, and antique weapons and amfrom around the world. Several notable interiors, ranging from 1st-century Rome through modern American design, are permanently installed in the Met's galleries. I saw a Dad explaining to his 5.year.old son about the Egyptian mummy and  I could realize the importance of learning and be inspire by the Culture, and It remind me of my children.... How good It would be if They had the chance to learn which is not only in the books!!!
