Macedo dos Santos - Volunteering

The experience I had at City Harvest's Mobile Market on February 1, last Saturday was very valuable for me.  I had the opportunity of seeing another side of the city. Generally New York City appears in the Media as Financial Center of the World, and We suppose to meet inequality between people. A the Market I listened all the time and learned some expressions. It was very important to develop language skills. In Brazil, I intend do a service-learning project like that, because I think Nutrition is an excellent theme for working and classes and sharing with community.
