American Values - Individualism
One of the great teachings of our master Ann Marie Tamayo was about individulism as American value. On this topic I would like to write some words about it.
If there is something to say about
individualism is that it brings good and bad results. It is worth noting that
this article does not have partisan political or religious connotation, but is
expressly my opinion.
Of course I will start presenting the downside,
after all, I don’t want to terminate a text making people cry. The negative side
of individualism is that one always see her first hand having to decide for
themselves their actions and manage that obligation to show results to family,
friends and other interested parties. It is not easy to reconcile the two sides
have to be at the center of concerns while worrying about ethics, respect for
others and life in society. It is very important and required a system of
secular education enough to show that although individual individuality is a
value, but it has limits. My concern is how to deal with this factor when you
are not even with his mind formed. In other words, to what extent the
individuality in American culture as an essential value is explained to a young,
and more interesting, as this young man manages it knowledge. Hence emphasize
the importance of an education system capable of displaying all the variety, diversity
and untouchable about each minority or prevailing system have.
On the other hand, individuality, when combined
with the maturity is able to complete an individual to their highest degree of
independence. Be independent and at the same time part of a body that is the society.
Be aware of your space and alien space, hear, think and act. Individuality is
the brand that every citizen has. Administer different languages, races,
cultures, religions, philosophies and ethnicities within the United States
requires every American citizen with a high level of intellectual mastery and
individuality able to make them realize that depend on each other for all
phases of their lives, either commerce, tourism or universal learning.
Individuality is the main product extracted from free societies and vice versa
is also true. Having your individuality and know that is part of a group and
one of the great joys that a citizen has. Here in America this value is
evidenced by the maintenance of the achievements that each person can in your
life in many different ways.
