School Observation

We had the chance to visit The International High School at La Guardia last Friday.

The School receives students from diferente countries. The Culture aspects are respected and English is taught as a second language within a context, which makes the students to improve the four abilities.

The teachers are prepared to receive these students and use technology associated to the speaking skills and they usually work in groups, since they have few students in the classroom.

It´s a very different reality for me, that work with a large number of students in the classroom, in spite of this, it was inspiring to see the way the teachers conduct the activities, I hope I can put some ideas into practice in my country.
